For 30 years, Uniquip has been proudly serving the rental market, focusing particularly on the needs of the independent operators that form the backbone of this sector. Started in 1975 with 4 employees in Quebec, Uniquip is now a leader in construction equipment distribution for the rental industry, in full growth with its talented and competent team.

 

In 1996, we have known a positive growth when we joined the John Brooks family of companies, giving Uniquip a national focus and strong financial support.

 

We were able to bring our success from Eastern Canada to the rest of Canada and beyond. Today, Uniquip is the largest distributor of light construction equipment for the Canadian rental industry.

 

Uniquip has changed its focus to include larger equipment and compaction in its range.

 

A key growth strategy for Uniquip Canada is to develop long term partnerships with our suppliers, to help them with the commercialisation of their products and to offer them a Canadian-wide visibility. Our ability to hold a variety of quality equipment allows us to better answer our customer’s expectations.

 

To continuously anticipate and meet the needs of our customers, Uniquip is evolving as a manufacturer, as well as a national distributor. Our Kodiak line of products includes state-of-the-art generators, water pumps and pressure washers, designed for the rigorous demands of the rental industry.

 

We have come a long way since our humble 4-person operation in 1975. But it is our commitment to our Statement of Values, and support from loyal customers and quality suppliers throughout this time that has made us the success that we are and that we will become.

 

We also remain close to our customers by participating in rental associations’ trade fairs across the country and by inviting them to events such as our annual open house.
